Crozet Elementary School.
Crozet Elementary is a rural school of about 300 students in central Virginia at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mrs. Huneycutt's class this year consist of 5 girls and 10 boys! They are currently working with the other 2nd grade classes on coverting a biofill into a rain garden habitat. They enjoy monthly grounds clean up around school, but are ancxious to explore other means to being a good citizen and are VERY excited to be Skyping with the Monticello Scholars.

The collaborating class from Monticello High School is Dr. Huneycutt’s Scholars. The Scholars are a select group of 8 students who take a semester class in government with Dr. Huneycutt followed by a semester at UVA with Dr. Larry J. Sabato. They are an amazing bunch of students who come in above their class time to work on the Citizenship project!
